The Free Flow Kit can be an effective tool for fine powders that tend to bridge. A quick twist of the handle breaks up any product that has bridged allowing the product to flow freely again.
Keep in mind, toppings that melt in an ambient serving environment will do so in the dispenser as well. That means crushed candy bars are not a good fit.
